CALLING ON EMERGING ARTISTS AND YOUNG ARTS COMPANIES |

Dear friends of the performing arts, The organizers of IETM Montréal 2007, in collaboration with the IETM Secretariat, are happy to announce that travel grants will be given to young, new-generation companies wishing to take part in the upcoming Spring Plenary Meeting of IETM, the International Network for Contemporary Performing Arts. The meeting will be held in Ljubljana in Slovenia from May 15 to 18, 2008. 10 grants of $1000 (680 Euros) each are to cover participants' transportation and/or accommodation costs. To apply, a candidate must:
Don't wait! The IETM Secretariat in Brussels will deal with applications on a first-come, first-serve basis, respecting the criteria listed above. The chosen grant recipients will be informed as soon as possible, and no later than April 30. They will receive the full amount of the grant in Euros at the meeting itself, according to a procedure that will be communicated to them. After the plenary meetings in Montreal and in Ghent, IETM is returning to Ljubljana, Slovenia, where network members met in 1992. It will be an opportunity to see how the contemporary arts sector there has evolved. The overall theme of the meeting is "Rehearsing freedom".
