Dear friends of the performing arts,

It's ready! The complete program, with details on the invited speakers and workshop leaders at IETM Montréal 2007, is now available on the IETM site. Click here to check it out. All the venues for activities are also shown.

If you do not have a moment to explore the site:
Download and print the PDF version by clicking here — to peruse at your leisure at an outdoor café.

As you know, the IETM is an international network, not a performing arts market. It exists to stimulate the quality, development and contexts of contemporary performing arts in a global environment, by initiating and facilitating professional networking and communication. The diversity of the people who get together at these plenary meetings creates a stirring atmosphere — a kind of joyful mixed-grill, to use a seasonal metaphor.

Here is a glimpse of a few of the speakers, moderators, and workshop leaders who will give us the benefit of their experience, stimulating the exchanges and reflections of the Meeting: Robyn Archer (artist and cultural operator), Mark Russel (Under the Radar), Nikki Milican (National Review of Live Art), Annie Roy (ATSA), Olivier Kemeid (Espace libre), Marie Clements (urban ink productions), Harold Rhéaume (Le Fils d’Adrien danse), Leen Laconte (Vlaams Cultuurhuis de Brakke Grond), Roger Sinha (Sinha Danse), Philip Bither (Walker Art Centre), Judy Harquail (Opera Atelier/CCI), Kyd Campbell (Frontierlab.org, artist and independent curator), Marie Lavigne (Place des Arts), Marie-Hélène Falcon (Festival TransAmériques), Jerry Aerts (deSingel International Arts Centre), Daniel Meilleur (Les Deux Mondes), Nicolas Reeves (Hexagram) and many others!

If you haven't reserved a hotel yet
Good news: even though the deadline for preferential rates has gone by, this special offer still applies as long as rooms are available. However, as hotels in Montreal tend to be fully booked during the period in question, it would be better to act fast. Click here.

Festival TransAmériques
The deadline for booking reduced-price tickets for festival performances has gone, but there are still tickets available at regular prices. These will soon be snapped up, so for remaining seats, click onto the FTA site: www.fta.qc.ca
For the list of FTA performances taking place within the IETM dates, click here.

The OFF event
A preliminary schedule summarizing the performances in the OFF section is or will be very soon available on the IETM site; click here. Note that the OFF event is the initiative of individual artists and arts companies. IETM Montréal 2007 will not respond to OFF inquiries before the beginning of the Meeting. At that time, full details of the OFF schedule will be available at our information and registration bureau at Théâtre Maisonneuve, Place des Arts.

New collaborators
